  • Where do i sit in the market currently and where do i appear within a general google search?
  • What competition do i have in the area and who is likely to be buying similar phrases or words in my chosen market?
  • What does my SEO strategy look like?
  • Have i updated my web site recently?
  • Are the phrases that i want to target already built on my web site?

The list is an extensive one and you should only spend once you’ve answered these questions and many more.
